Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to build long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers, delivering tailored cash management and finance solutions.

You will maintain and grow deposits, expand share of wallet, hunt new-to-bank opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to meet revenue targets while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business.
• 3–5 years in commercial banking or related field.
• Experience in cash management and corporate banking.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing deposit portfolio and deepen profitable relationships by providing proposition and advisory for commercial banking clients on their Cash Management.
• Proactively review with clients to increase share of wallet by providing customized Cash Management Solutions on collection, payment, payroll, internet banking, etc. to meet and exceed their business and operational requirements.
• Hunt new-to-bank and generate new leads from the value chain of the existing clients.
• Cross-sell other products within the Bank including cash management facilities, bancassurance, workplace accounts, premier banking, etc.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the portfolio meets planned revenue and volume projections.
• Assess and manage risks by performing customer due diligence per regulatory and internal procedures.
