Job summary

Hitachi Sunway Information Systems is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to grow our presence in the Johor Bahru region. The role focuses on developing new accounts and expanding the product range among existing customers in engineering and manufacturing sectors.

You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, managing a robust pipeline, and providing accurate forecasts while building strong customer relationships and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in engineering.
• 2–3 years in sales, preferably in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience selling engineering software/products is a bonus.
• Solid understanding of full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and service existing customers to grow sales in the territory.
• Meet personal sales targets.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Plan and organize sales activities.
• Manage existing customers and prospect new ones in engineering/manufacturing sectors.
• Provide monthly forecasts and a 3-month rolling MO pipeline.
• Ensure timely monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Maintain a pipeline size 3x target.
• Submit reports on sales activity promptly.
• Support BFT sales activities to drive sales management.
• Prepare sales reports for department heads.
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks as needed.
