Job summary

Hitachi Asia (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-driven sales professional with a background in Mechanical/Mechatronic engineering to drive growth in manufacturing and related sectors.

The ideal candidate will leverage knowledge of engineering software and strong customer engagement to close deals and cultivate long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's/Professional degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic or any Engineering field.
• 2–3 years in sales, preferably in manufacturing, engineering or related sectors.
• Experience selling engineering software, products or services (e.g., Catia, UG NX, CAE, CAD, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; goal-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Job description

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, in Mechanical/Mechatronic or any Engineering related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years in sales preferably selling into manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aviation, aerospace, tool & die, tooling etc industries.
• Experience in selling engineering software, products or services (E.g., Catia, UG NX, CAE, Solidworks, Autodesk, CAD, Factory Automation, Industrial Automation, IoT, CNC etc.) are a bonus.
• Solid understanding of complete sales cycles, from prospecting to closing.
• Demonstrated success managing a sales pipeline and forecast.
• Eagerness to learn is crucial.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Goal-oriented, highly motivated, and ability to work under pressure.
• Sales driven and good customer support
• Has own transport will be an added advantage.
