Job summary

Hitachi Group in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Sales / Business Development professional to expand our presence in engineering and manufacturing markets. You will develop new accounts, service existing customers, and extend product usage while meeting personal sales targets.

A strong emphasis on forecast accuracy and pipeline health is required. You will cultivate relationships, plan activities, and manage both prospecting and closing stages, leveraging your knowledge of engineering software

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic or related field.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or related industries.
• Experience selling engineering software, products or services is a plus (e.g., Catia, UG NX, CAE, SolidWorks, Autodesk).
• Solid understanding of full sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and forecast with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and service existing customers to expand product usage in the territory.
• Ensure personal sales targets are met and maintain a healthy sales funnel (3x target).
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers and provide monthly forecasts and reports.
• Plan and organize sales activities; submit timely sales reports and MO forecasts.
• Support management with ad-hoc tasks and assist in BFT sales activities as required.
