Job summary

NEXORE (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Business Development Executive to drive revenue and build the BD team. You will own the new business pipeline from strategy to contracts and lead complex bids, including tenders and enterprise accounts.

You will establish and uphold high standards, nurture key client relationships, and continuously refine the BD playbook. A degree in business-related field is required; MBA is a plus. 30 days kick-off not required here.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience leading a sales/BD team.
• Familiar with tenders and complex bids.
• Strong relationship-building and client management.
• Proficient with computers and office software.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• MBA is a plus (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the company’s new business pipeline from strategy to signed contracts.
• Lead and develop the BD team, setting activity standards and coaching for performance.
• Personally lead complex bids and strategic opportunities (tenders, enterprise accounts, large renewals).
• Build and protect key client relationships as senior contact for key accounts.
• Design and improve the BD playbook for prospecting, pitching, pricing, and closing.
