Carey Olsen is seeking a Business Development Senior Manager to lead growth across Bermuda, BVI and Cayman. You will design and implement BD plans, focusing on investment funds, corporate/M&A, banking and FinTech in the Americas, and act as a trusted adviser to partners with market insight and pipeline intelligence.

You will collaborate with senior lawyers to turn practice-area goals into revenue-generating initiatives, manage data-driven campaigns, and support proposals and client pitches

Formación

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a business development role in an international law firm. Understanding of the offshore legal market helpful but not essential
• Proven track record of developing and implementing data driven BD initiatives that have either resulted in new business or deepening client relationships
• Experience using management information (MI), market research, and CRM data to identify new business trends, track pipeline performance, and deliver measurable campaign ROI
• Familiarity of working with online RFP portals (e.g., PERSUIT, Coupa, i-Supply, Ariba) helpful
• Masters' Degree (MSc or MBA) desirable but not essential

Responsabilidades

• Act as a trusted adviser to partners, bringing market insight and pipeline intelligence to ensure strategy translates into measurable outcomes
• Design, implement, and monitor BD plans for Bermuda, Cayman and BVI – with focus on funds, M&A, banking and FinTech
• Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers to translate goals into revenue-generating initiatives
• Research, develop and execute MI and data-driven campaigns to identify new business opportunities in the Americas
• Strengthen institutional client relationships and facilitate cross-selling across jurisdictions
• Coordinate with the global BD team to ensure a joined-up multi-jurisdictional approach
• Provide rapid support for pitches, RFP responses and client presentations
• Develop thought leadership and marketing campaigns to raise the profile of US work across platforms
• Identify high-value industry events with Marketing to plan execution and ROI
