Job summary

BURKERT FLUID CONTROL SYSTEMS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive business development and customer growth in Malaysia. You will plan strategies, expand market penetration and cultivate new relationships with key accounts.

The role requires an engineering degree, strong sales acumen, and experience selling process automation solutions across industries. You will work with CRM tools to manage opportunities and drive revenue.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience selling system solutions to multiple industries such as Food & Beverage, Lab & Analytics, Semiconductor & Electronics, Water, Pharma/Biotech, or New Energy.
Good business acumen and strong key account management.
Proficient in using sales programs such as CRM and eCommerce.
Independent; go-getter with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

Align with corporate identified new markets and come up with market strategies to penetrate.
Identify potential markets and applications where company products can be used in the assigned sales territories.
Engage in regular customer and project site visits to introduce the company and enhance visibility.
Build strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and ensure ongoing business opportunities.
Actively identify and pursue leads that align with the company’s products and services.
Implement sales strategy in area of responsibility via market, customers and competitor analysis.
Represent the company professionally in all interactions and be an ambassador of the company’s values.
