Job summary

ANDRITZ in Malaysia seeks a Manager of the Automation Department to drive sales growth from initial engagement to delivery. You will analyze markets, identify opportunities, and build strong client relationships while coordinating with technical teams to tailor automation solutions.

Prepare presentations, review tenders, and ensure competitive pricing to achieve targets. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience, with fluency in English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• Fluent in English and Malay, both spoken and written.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of ISO & OHSAS is an advantage.
• Understanding of product and market pricing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire order process and project sales calculations.
• Coordinate delivery or installation of products and services.
• Conduct market analysis and prepare detailed reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations with product specifications.
• Collaborate with clients and the technical team to meet needs.
• Handle cost inquiries and work with procurement and engineers.
• Review tender documents focusing on technical and commercial aspects.
