Job summary

MRL Consulting Group | Global Niche Technology Recruitment in Malaysia seeks a Senior Account Manager to own a portfolio of electronics customers and drive revenue growth across the country. Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in inside sales, account management or a similar commercial role.
• Experience within the electronic components industry would be highly advantageous.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• A consultative approach, with the ability to understand customer needs and develop appropriate solutions.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and sales tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts across Malaysia.
• Act as the primary point of contact, building strong and trusted customer relationships.
• Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts to maximise revenue.
• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Understand customer requirements and provide tailored commercial solutions.
• Work closely with Business Development, Purchasing, Operations, Quality and Logistics teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful order fulfilment.
• Maintain regular contact with customers through calls, emails and virtual meetings.
• Visit customers occasionally to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Share market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape wider business strategies.
