Job summary

Pentas Flora Management Services Sdn Bhd in Sungai Jawi, Penang, is looking for a Storekeeper (Forklift) cum Assistant Driver (GDL) to support daily warehouse operations. You will receive, store and record stock, operate a forklift and assist with delivery activities.

This role requires basic stock management knowledge, accurate data entry, and the ability to load and unload goods. One year of warehouse experience and a valid GDL licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of incoming and outgoing inventory and stock management.
• Ability to perform stock receiving, storage and accurate data entry.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• One year of warehouse experience is preferred.
• A valid GDL licence is preferred.
• Ability to drive a 3-tonne lorry is an added advantage.
• Able to carry out loading, unloading and general storekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and check them against the relevant delivery orders.
• Acknowledge delivery orders and label all goods received.
• Store goods in designated containers or storage areas and keep them safe and orderly.
• Record all incoming and outgoing stock movements accurately.
• Perform data entry for stock receipts, storage and stock issues.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records to support daily stock management.
• Load and unload goods as required for warehouse and delivery activities.
• Operate a forklift to move and position goods safely within the store.
• Handle goods carefully during loading, unloading and storage.
• Assist with delivery activities, including loading and unloading goods from the lorry.

The role covers receiving, storing and recording stock, loading and unloading goods, operating a forklift, and assisting with delivery activities. The employee maintains accurate inventory records and keeps goods, equipment and the store safe, clean and organised.
