Job summary

Vivo Food Sdn Bhd is seeking a Storekeeper in Johor Iskandar Puteri to manage inventory, organize stock storage, and coordinate stock transfer to outlets. The role requires forklift experience, a valid GDL license, and attention to accurate records, while supervising store staff in daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.

The successful candidate will maintain clean stock lists, ensure proper labeling of incoming goods, and perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to guarantee

Qualifications

• SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1/2/3 or Equivalent
• Possession of a valid GDL License
• 1–2 years of inventory management and storekeeping experience
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and inventory management practices
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Effective communication with operations teams and drivers

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control, cycle counts and stock takes.
• Ensure optimization of the storage areas and smoothness of materials movement.
• Responsible for sending out stock to each outlets including packaging the stock and etc.
• Checks materials and supplies and reports when stock is low.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and systematic.
• Ensure all incoming goods are properly stored & labelled.
• Transport goods and material to/from warehouse to outlets.
• Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Perform daily inspection prior and at the end of every trip.
• Responsible to ensure vehicle is kept clean and in working condition.
• Supervise and manage the respective store staff on daily activities of incoming and outgoing materials, and other related matters pertaining store.
• To ensure stock list is up to date and to set stock buffer for expandable.

Job description

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient storage, and facilitating the movement of materials. Key duties include packaging and delivering stock to outlets, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and keeping the store organized and clean. In addition, this role involves safely transporting goods, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and supervising store staff in their daily activities. The position requires adherence to safety regulations and the maintenance of an updated stock list. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a forklift driver.

1 to 2 years of experience in inventory management and storekeeping.

Solid understanding of bookkeeping and inventory management practices.

Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory tracking.

Effective communication skills for collaboration with operations teams and drivers.
