Job summary

Teck Guan Group in Tawau, Sabah, is seeking a storekeeper to manage incoming materials, spare parts, and tools. You will verify items against purchase orders, categorize and label stock for easy retrieval, and maintain accurate inventory records with regular cycle counts.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, familiarity with machinery, and strong organizational skills. Based in Tawau, Sabah, the position offers on-site work within a diversified group with manufacturing and trading

Qualifications

• Minimum education: SPM, Vocational Certificate or Diploma.
• 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with machinery.

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials, accessories, spare parts, tools against PO/DO.
• Categorise, label and store items for identification and retrieval.
• Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stocktakes.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized; spare parts area for urgent breakdowns.

Job description

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect and verify incoming raw materials, trading accessories, machinery spare parts, tools and hardware against purchase orders and delivery orders.

Categorise, label and store items properly for easy identification and retrieval.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and monitor stock levels.

Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stocktakes.

Keep the raw material storage area clean and organised.

Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised spare parts store to allow quick retrieval during urgent machinery breakdowns.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM, Vocational Certificate or Diploma.

1-3 years of experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant or inventory clerk in a manufacturing company.

Familiarity with machinery.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

A quick learner with good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
