Job summary

Schmaco Auto Parts Industries – Rawang, Selangor is seeking a warehouse stock control assistant to ensure accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. You will verify incoming deliveries, report discrepancies, label stock, and manage stock movements in the ERP system.

The role requires meticulous attention to inventory details, proper labeling, and coordinating with sales for order fulfillment. Join a hands-on warehouse team in Rawang facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against delivery notes
• Record and report damages, shortages, or discrepancies in goods received
• Ensure goods are stored, labeled, and placed at designated storage locations
• Carry out stock in and stock out transactions in stock cards and/or inventory system
• Identify and recognize stock codes and OEM numbers when handling goods
• Pick, count, and prepare finished goods according to sales orders or pick slips
• Ensure correct quantity and items are dispatched according to sales orders
• Perform periodic stock counts and reconcile with inventory records
• Review stock balances and highlight low stock levels; assist in ordering items
• Relocate and update stock locations when new items are received
• Prepare and maintain proper labeling of stock and locations for easy retrieval
• Perform packaging work of finished goods to support deliveries
• Maintain warehouse and records area neatly; operate material handling equipment
• Ensure safe handling and storage to prevent damage or accidents
• Assist in loading, unloading, and arranging goods for storage or dispatch
• Record daily stock movements in ERP system and report to supervisor
• Comply with company rules and the appointment letter/handbook
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Record and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies in goods received
• Ensure goods are properly stored, labeled, and placed at designated storage locations
• Carry out stock in and stock out transactions accurately in stock cards and/or inventory system
• Identify and recognize stock codes and OEM numbers when handling goods
• Pick, count, and prepare finished goods accurately according to sales order or pick slip requirements
• Ensure correct quantity and items are dispatched according to sales order before release
• Perform periodic stock counts and reconcile with inventory records, support annual inventory count and reconciliation activities
• Review stock balances, highlight low stock levels, and assist in ordering standard or special items when required
• Relocate and update stock location whenever extra stock or new items are received
• Prepare and maintain proper labeling of stock and locations for easy identification and retrieval
• Perform packaging work of finished goods when necessary to support deliveries
• Maintain warehouse and records area in a neat, clean, and orderly manner at all times
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment in good working order and cleanliness
• Ensure safe handling and storage practices to prevent product damage or workplace accidents
• Assist in loading, unloading, and arranging goods at designated areas for storage or dispatch
• Record daily stock movements in ERP system and submit reports to supervisor for tracking and audit purposes
• Comply with all company rules and regulations as outlined in the appointment letter and employee handbook
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time
