Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a warehouse/inventory support staff to implement procedures, maintain records, and assist the HOD in achieving department objectives. The role involves FIFO labeling, inventory issuance, and coordinating with Logistics for loading and unloading.

The position includes duties to ensure materials are distributed to departments for timely production, perform regular stock checks, and support packing and crate work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement company and department procedures and maintain records.
• Assist Department HOD to achieve department objectives.
• Maintain FIFO and labeling for all material and chemical.
• Issue inventory by scheduling movements and coordinating transfers.
• Ensure materials are distributed to departments to support production.
• Coordinate goods loading/unloading with Logistics.
• Check incoming materials and report defects.
• Prepare Sample Trial Result Reports for defects for Purchasing.
• Deliver supplies by receiving and transferring items.
• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space and adhering to storage design principles.
• Conduct monthly physical counts and reconcile variances.
• Operate equipment safely; arrange repairs with Purchasing when needed.
• Coordinate activities with other departments.
• Assist in wooden crate and packing if required.

• To implement company & department procedure, Work Instruction, Rules & Regulations, maintain all related record & up keeping good housekeeping


• Assist Department HOD to work together with team to achieve department objective


• Maintain FIFO & labelling for all material & chemical


• Issue inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments & maintain issuance record


• Ensure materials are distributed to respective departments to ensure timely production.


• Work closely with Logistics Department to coordinate any goods loading & unloading.


• Carry out material check for all incoming goods received and report any material defects.


• For any material defects, prepare Sample Trial Result Report and submit to Purchasing Departments for claims.


• Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.


• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.


• Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.


• Keeps equipment's such as forklift, PDA, crane, etc. operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; arrange with purchasing for repairs if
