Job summary

Demco Industries is seeking a warehouse and inventory supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of store and inventory management, ensuring efficiency in receiving, storage, packing, safety, and cleanliness.

Monitor and verify incoming and outgoing materials/finished goods for accuracy, completeness, and condition for both local and overseas suppliers/customers, and maintain proper stock records in system and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth operation of store and inventory management, ensuring efficiency in receiving, storage, packing, safety, and cleanliness.
• Monitor and verify incoming and outgoing materials/finished goods for accuracy, completeness, and condition for both local and overseas suppliers/customers.
• Ensure all stock transactions are recorded in both the system and Excel, including quality checks, sample listings, and technical records.
• Ensure all products and components undergo proper inspection for defects, measurements, and specification compliance, including inspecting incoming goods for quantity, quality, and damages, reporting issues to the relevant department, and following up until stock is replaced.
• Track stock levels for components, finished goods, and subcontracted items, coordinating with purchasers for raw material procurement.
• Manage subcontractor arrangements and maintain proper documentation for claims on purchases from local and overseas suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records for disposal items, work-in-progress, and other inventory-related tasks.
• Coordinate and oversee daily and yearly stock counts, ensuring stock movements align with both physical and system records.
• Check and reconcile daily stock movements, ensuring accuracy in both physical and system records.
• Monitor overseas packing lists prepared by the Production & Store Coordinator, and Optimize warehouse layout, labeling and storage, coordinate logistics, and oversee warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and packaging.
• Assign tasks, train staff on warehouse processes and safety, and monitor performance with feedback.
• Coordinate with the driver team and internal teams on delivery schedules, optimize routes, and ensure timely dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and conduct regular safety checks.
• Prepare stock reports, monitor inventory movement, and recommend replenishment based on demand.
• Oversee quality system implementation, internal and external audits, continuous improvement activities, and adherence to company quality standards.
• Oversee and maintain the company’s ISO quality management system, including documentation control, process implementation, internal audits, and continuous improvement activities.
• Support internal and external ISO audits and ensure all corrective actions and preventive measures are completed on time.
• Handle weekly inspection of FX hostel, ensure cleanliness and compliance, and submit inspection reports to the office.
• Monitor workers’ discipline, ensure adherence to company rules and behaviour standards, and report issues for appropriate action.
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth running of project/business; faithfully and diligently perform all duties and exercise such power consistent with them as the company may assign

• Abidance by rules and proper procedures on all tasks handling; and
• To perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when required
