Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Inventory/Store Clerk to manage daily receiving, checking and issuing of materials, ensure accurate inventory records and support production schedules.

The role requires SPM and Diploma with less than 1 year of experience, and applicants must be Malaysian citizens. On-site position with standard store duties and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• SPM and Diploma required.
• Experience: less than 1 year.
• Malaysian nationals only.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily receiving, checking and issuing of raw materials, components, spare parts and finished goods.
• Check incoming goods against PO, DO and related documents.
• Prepare and maintain GRN and other store documentation.
• Ensure stock movements are recorded in the inventory system.
• Arrange and store materials with proper labeling.
• Issue materials to Production according to requests.
• Monitor stock quantity and report shortages or damaged items.
• Perform regular stock checks and assist monthly/yearly stock take.
• Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO where applicable.
• Prepare materials according to production schedules and requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, QA/QC and Logistics regarding material requirements and stock movement.
• Maintain filing of store and inventory documents.
• Keep store/warehouse area clean, organized and safe.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Follow company SOPs and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Supervisor or Management.

Job Responsibilities

• 2.Check incoming goods against Purchase Order (PO), Delivery Order (DO) and related documents.
• 3.Prepare and maintain Goods Received Note (GRN) and other store documentation.
• 4.Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded in the inventory system.
• 5.Arrange and store materials systematically with proper identification and labelling.
• 6.Issue materials to the Production Department according to authorized material requests.
• 7.Monitor stock quantity and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.
• 8.Perform regular stock checking and assist in monthly/yearly stock take.
• 9.Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO where applicable.
• 10.Prepare materials according to production schedules and requirements.
• 11.Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, QA/QC and Logistics regarding material requirements and stock movement.
• 12.Maintain proper filing of store and inventory documents.
• 13.Ensure the store/warehouse area is clean, organized and complies with company safety requirements.
