Job summary

KK Super Mart Bentong is seeking a Shop Assistant (Full Time) to receive, record, arrange, inspect and return goods, and manage inventory and merchandising. The role requires maintaining cleanliness and proper housekeeping across the store premises, while operating POS systems and delivering friendly customer service.

Candidates should have SPM/ Diploma or equivalent, with 1–3 years retail experience; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 1–3 years retail experience with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Own transport is recommended for the role.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, arrange, inspect and return goods and manage inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the store.
• Operate and handle store equipment in line with procedures.
• Ensure safety and care of store assets and property.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times.
• Handle emergencies appropriately and report to relevant personnel.
• Uphold the good image and reputation of KK Super Mart.
