Job summary

KK Super Mart is seeking a Shop Assistant for full-time duties at our Taman Taynton store. The role involves receiving and recording stock, arranging and inspecting goods, and ensuring accurate inventory control and merchandise handling.

You will also maintain store cleanliness, operate POS systems, and assist customers with courteous service. Ideal candidates have SPM or diploma-level education, with 1–3 years of retail experience; supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

SPM or Diploma or equivalent qualification; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Retail experience 1–3 years preferred, with supervisory responsibilities considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

To receive, record, arrange, inspect, and return goods, as well as perform all tasks related to inventory and merchandise handling.
To maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the store premises.
To operate and handle all equipment and machines available in the store in accordance with company procedures.
To ensure the safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.
To provide courteous and professional service to customers.
To handle emergency situations appropriately and report them to the relevant personnel when necessary.
To uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.
