Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the opening and daily operations of a new artisanal yogurt and specialty café concept in Mont Kiara. You will build the service team, ensure excellent customer experiences and manage implementation of SOPs.

Responsibilities include overseeing store operations, staff scheduling, inventory control, training, and achieving sales targets while maintaining high standards of hygiene and product presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of cafe/restaurant/F&B operations experience.
• Proven store/outlet management experience.
• Hands-on leader able to work independently.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive and hands-on Store Manager to lead the opening and daily operations of an upcoming artisanal yogurt and specialty café concept in Mont Kiara.

The successful candidate will play a key role in setting up store operations, building the service team and ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth service and consistent operational standards.

Manage staff scheduling, attendance, inventory and stock ordering.

Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness and product presentation.

Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues professionally.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and company policies.

Pre-Opening & Team Management

Assist with store setup, supplier coordination, POS implementation and operational readiness.

Recruit, train and supervise the front-of-house team.

Develop and implement service SOPs, training procedures and daily workflows.

Lead the team during soft opening and subsequent daily operations.

Monitor daily sales, labour costs, wastage and operational expenses.

Work towards sales targets and operational KPIs.

Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, efficiency and profitability.

Prepare regular operational reports and provide updates to management.

Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing service team.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in café, restaurant or F&B operations.

Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Outlet Manager.

Experience in new outlet openings is an advantage.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of inventory management, labour costs and store performance.

Hands-on, responsible and able to work independently.

Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
