Cheval SMG Sdn Bhd is hiring a Restaurant Supervisor / Asst. Manager / Manager for our new Café Bar Bistro at Sunway PuteriHills, Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia.

The role covers supervising front-of-house operations, leading a service team, and ensuring guest satisfaction with a focus on quality and safety. You will work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, with duties spanning guest relations, reservations, cash handling, and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Asst. Manager, or Manager in a bustling restaurant, café, or hospitality setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high hygiene standards.
• Train, mentor, and schedule service staff to foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Act as primary point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism.
• Coordinate with kitchen for seamless communication, manage reservations, and monitor front-of-house supplies and beverages.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations and brand standards.
• Assist management with daily sales reporting, cash handling, and opening/closing checklists.

Key Responsibilities:

Floor Leadership:

Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service flow, high hygiene standards, and prompt guest seating and greeting.

Team Supervision:

Train, mentor, and schedule service staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.

Guest Relations:

Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests, ensuring every issue is resolved with professionalism and care.

Operations & Inventory:

Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication, manage table reservations, and monitor stock levels for front-of-house supplies and beverages.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations, as well as company brand standards at all times.

Administrative Support:

Assist management with daily sales reporting, cash handling, and opening/closing checklists.

Key Requirements:

Experience:
