Job summary

PENANG AUTOMATION CLUSTER SDN BHD is seeking a logistics admin professional to support day-to-day operations, maintain inventory records, and coordinate with teams in Penang. The role involves documentation, planning deliveries, and generating regular reports to monitor stock and performance.

Requirements include a Diploma in Business Administration or related field and 1–3 years of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an independent work style are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update inventory records, stock levels and movement reports.
• Assist planning and scheduling deliveries, shipments and replenishment of materials.

• Conduct cycle counts, audits and reconciliation of inventory as scheduled.
• Maintain filing and record-keeping for easy retrieval and compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline administrative processes.
• Coordinate with junior team members and provide guidance on procedures.
• Ensure housekeeping and organization of store, receiving areas and workstations.

Job description

To support day-to-day logistics operations, including inventory records, documentation, and coordination with relevant teams.

To maintain and update inventory records, stock levels, and movement reports accurately.

To assist in planning and scheduling deliveries, shipments, and replenishment of materials.

To generate and update regular reports, including weekly logistics performance, stock risks, and delivery status.

To assist in conducting cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of inventory as scheduled.

To maintain proper filing, documentation, and record-keeping for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.

To support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline administrative processes.

To coordinate with junior team members and provide guidance on administrative procedures as required.

To ensure housekeeping and organization of store, receiving areas, and workstations are maintained.

To perform any other logistics-related administrative duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.

Requirements :

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration / Business Studies / Business Management / Supply Chain Management / Warehouse Management or an equivalent qualification.

A minimum 1-3 years of working experience in a related field is required, preferably within the metal fabrication manufacturing industry.

Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Resourceful with positive attitude and able to work independently
