PENANG AUTOMATION CLUSTER SDN BHD (PAC) is seeking skilled personnel for bending-related fabrication. You will handle punching, laser cutting, and bending operations, read engineering drawings, and maintain safety and housekeeping on the shop floor.

The role requires 2–3 years in punching/laser cutting and proven bending experience, with CNC bending knowledge being a plus. Join a collaborative team focused on high-precision metal fabrication and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• SPM equivalent or technical certificate.
• 2–3 years' experience in punching/laser cutting processes.
• Proven experience operating sheet metal bending equipment (e.g., press brakes).
• Experience with CNC bending or other advanced fabrication technologies is advantageous.

To ensurebendingprocessare carried out in accordance with specified requirements.

To be responsible for safety handling of bending machines.

To ensure the bendingprocess producebestresults as per customer requirement.

Toperform in-process qualityinspectionand measurementof finished products and compare them with requirements using proper inspection tools.

To perform daily machinery inspection with checklistrecorded& maintained to ensuremachinesfunctionality.

To work closely with team members to perform bending operations based on priorities.

To read and interpret the engineering drawing before performing bending operations, provides feedback on issues and consult superior if unclear with instruction.

To be responsible forthewell being of toolsutilization.

To feedback and consult thesuperior for necessary corrective actionon process quality problemif required.

To highlight to the superiorwhen suspected defective parts are being produced.

To work with cross-functional teams on improvement or kaizen projects.

To ensure housekeepingat shopfloor and workstationsare well maintained at all time.

To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.

Requirements :

SPM equivalent or technical certificate

Possess knowledge and minimum 2-3 years experience in punching/ laser cutting process.

Proven experience operating sheet metal bending equipment, such as press brakes and related machinery

Experience with CNC bending or other advanced fabrication technologies is advantageous
