Job summary

SARAWAK OIL PALMS BERHAD is seeking a Store & Inventory Clerk to oversee daily store operations, ensure accurate inventory, proper storage and efficient distribution of goods at our Sarawak site in Malaysia.

The incumbent will receive and inspect incoming goods, report discrepancies to purchasing, determine reorder quantities, conduct stock checks, and maintain a safe, clean workspace in compliance with safety rules.

Qualifications

• Degree in Store and Inventory Management / Warehousing Operations / Logistics and Distribution.
• Preferably 2 years' experience in store and warehousing.
• Knowledge of Inventory Management System (SAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with store equipment (forklift).
• Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the store department, ensuring smooth inventory management, proper storage and efficient distribution of goods.
• Managing the receipt and inspection of incoming goods and materials.
• Report any discrepancies, damages or shortages to purchasing department and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.
• Determine reorder quantity based on minimum and maximum stock set by end-users.
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
• Ensure store cleanliness, organized and safe work area in compliance with safety regulations.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
