Job summary

Hup Fatt Brothers Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Storekeeper to manage inventory records and optimize stock levels. You will support documentation, collaborate with sales, operations and finance, and help maintain orderly warehouse processes.

The role requires a Diploma in related field and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential, Mandarin is a plus. A 1–2 year track record in a similar field is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal teams to improve work effectiveness.

Job description

Manage and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure data integrity.

Implement effective stock management strategies to optimize inventory levels, prevent overstocking and understocking, and ensure a balanced and efficient inventory turnover.

Maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory documentation, which includes stock records, purchase orders, and invoices, in support of an organized and efficient record-keeping system.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure synchronized inventory planning, address challenges, and facilitate the efficient flow of inventory.

Support the implementation of the 5s methodology in the warehouse to enhance operational efficiency.

STOREKEEPER

Safely handle and manage the movement of goods/materials to maintain integrity and ensure the goods/materials remain in optimal condition.

Efficiently organize and accurately locate the goods/ materials in designated areas for easy access and retrieval.

Select, prepare, and utilize appropriate packing materials to efficiently and effectively package goods/materials in optimizing the use of resources and ensuring the safe transportation of products.

Operate forklifts and other inventory equipment safely and effectively to ensure the efficient movement of goods/materials within the workplace.

Contribute to the implementation of the 5S methodology to improve and maintain operational efficiency within the workplace.

Collaborate with the internal team to improve work effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Skills and Qualification

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Logistics, or any other supply chain-related studies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Email, computer literate.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

Candidate able to converse in mandarin will be an added advantage.

At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Working experience in sheet metal environment will be an added advantage.
