Job summary

Steel Centre (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Coordinator to manage customer forecasts, foster strong client relationships, and present products. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and handle feedback promptly, while contributing to contract/quote preparation and monthly collections.

The role requires a Diploma in relevant fields and at least 3 years of sales experience in manufacturing or metal industries, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or metal industry.
• Good communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Self motivated, target oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Obtain customer’s forecast every beginning on the month.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct customer visits and product presentations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Convert customer’s forecast into Size Assortment (Raw Material Procurement).
• Monitoring shipping status for the respective ordered material.
• Preparing Sales Contract / Quotation and submit to sales manager for approval.
• If there is an external rejection occur, to verify it with the customer.
• Monthly payment collection for the respective customer.
• Fully responsible for the sales coordinator - clerk/assistant officer.
• Conducting training to sales representative - assistant officer when it’s require.
• Any other duties as assigned by superior.
