Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director to drive growth with the State of South Carolina and its localities. You will manage a portfolio of engagements, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and build senior-level relationships to expand the firm's footprint in state government.

You will guide project strategy, ensure high-quality delivery, and oversee BD efforts to secure new work while maintaining compliance with contracts and internal policies. This role requires travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in total work experience.
• 3+ years leading large-scale programs or engagements with state agencies.
• Strong relationships with state/local government leaders in SC.
• Understanding of government acquisition processes and BD practices.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a portfolio of client engagements and consulting staff to meet contractual targets and deliverables.
• Strategize with teams on project approach, manage communications, and mitigate risk across engagements.
• Drive quality and standards of work product and engagement outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with executives at state/local government agencies.
• Develop best practices and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Manage economics of engagements to align with financial parameters.
