Shopee is seeking an Operations professional for the Last Mile Hub in Georgetown, Penang. You will delegate tasks to sorters and drivers, inbound parcels from the linehaul team, and coordinate daily activities to ensure timely delivery and high customer service levels.

You will monitor driver behavior, support the fleet team lead with onboarding and training, and ensure KPI compliance and safety SOP adherence in a fast-moving, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Penang/Kedah/Perak-based candidates encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotational shifts.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience in logistics operations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with postcodes, routing and mapping is beneficial.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to adapt in an agile, dynamic environment.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field is advantageous.

[SPX] Last Mile Hub (Georgetown, Penang)

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
• Assist the fleet team lead in deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
• Monitor and report KPI compliance
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements:

• Candidates currently based at Penang / Kedah / Perak are encouraged to apply
• Willing to work in a rational shift basis depending on business needs.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage
• Familiarity with postcodes/routing/mapping would be of good use
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Able to adapt in an agile environment
• Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment
