Job summary

SPX Xpress (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is hiring for a logistics coordinator in Penang. You will delegate tasks to sorters and drivers, receive parcels, and coordinate daily activities to ensure timely deliveries. Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on headcounts.
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure high level of customer service.
• Assist fleet team lead in deployment and training of new drivers where applicable.
• Monitor and report KPI compliance.
• Ensure compliance of safety policies and SOPs for in-hub parcel collection.

Job description

Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team

Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner

Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service

Assist the fleet team lead in deployment and training of new drivers where applicable

Monitor and report KPI compliance

Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements:

Candidates currently based at Penang / Kedah / Perak are encouraged to apply

Willing to work in a rational shift basis depending on business needs.

Basic Microsoft Excel skills

Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage
