Job summary

Nam Cheong Dockyard Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist to assist with invoice preparation, reviewing contracts, orders and progress claims for accuracy. You will analyze collections, liaise with customers and internal staff to resolve outstanding payments, send statements, monitor aging, and reconcile AR to the General Ledger.

The role requires at least 3 years in AR/collections, a degree in accounting, strong Excel skills, and fluent English to communicate with

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Accounts Receivable and Collections experience.
• Degree in Accounting.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare invoices by checking supporting documents, contractual terms, client's orders and progress claims.

Job description

Analyze collection report and interact with customers and internal staff to resolve outstanding payments or issues affecting the collections.

Send Statement of Account to outstanding customers and monitor collection.

Reconcile Account Receivable to the General Ledger.

Responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues;

Generate and maintain monthly aging reports in a timely and accurate manner.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years Account Receivable and Collection experience

Degree in Accounting

Knowledge of general accounting principals

Proficient at MS Office (especially Excel.

Positive and proactive attitude.

Strong organizational and planning skills

Ability to communicator with internal stakeholders and external customers.

Proficiency in both verbal and written English.
