Job summary

Linergy Power is seeking a procurement professional to manage material delivery, purchase orders, and price accuracy across assigned categories. You will monitor market conditions in real time and adjust procurement strategy accordingly to ensure timely supply.

Key duties include evaluating supplier capacity, planning capacity, and managing inventory while coordinating with QA, suppliers, and internal teams. Fluency in English and ERP tools like SAP/Excel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2–5 years procurement or material management experience.
• Experience in supplier life cycle management, contract/order management, and market analysis.
• Familiar with procurement processes, inspection/return processes, and engineering change mgmt.
• Fluent in English; Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia skills are a plus.

Key responsibilities

Manage material delivery and ensure timely supply of materials

Manage purchase orders, track timely order delivery, and ensure price accuracy

Monitor market supply situation in real time and update procurement strategy accordingly

Evaluate supplier capacity and conduct capacity planning to ensure sufficient supply

Adjust delivery schedules based on changing demand and manage excess inventory

Manage raw material inventory across assigned categories

Handle abnormal incoming materials in collaboration with quality and suppliers

Clean up and manage defective products and coordinate with domestic factories and suppliers

Comply with company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, and participate in EHS programs and training as required

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field

2 - 5 years working experience in procurement or material management

Background in new energy or electronics industry is an added advantage

Good knowledge of procurement business including supplier life cycle management, contract order management and supply market analysis

Familiar with procurement business processes, inspection and return processes, and engineering change management procedures

Understand upstream and downstream market information for materials under your responsibility, including industry development trends and advantages and disadvantages of various resources

Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing; speaking and understanding Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia

Proficient in SAP, ERP, and Excel office software

Excellent communication and coordination skills with professional field negotiation skills
