Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional to manage material delivery and purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely supply. The role involves monitoring markets, evaluating supplier capacity, and aligning sourcing strategies with demand while maintaining inventory and EHS compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong procurement knowledge and experience with SAP/ERP systems and Excel, plus bilingual English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier lifecycle management.
• Experience with contract/order management and supply market analysis.
• Familiar with purchasing, inspection and returns, and engineering change management.
• Understanding of upstream and downstream markets and supplier analysis.
• Bilingual English and Chinese communication; proficient in SAP/ERP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for material delivery management to ensure timely and continuous supply.
• Manage purchase orders, including order placement, delivery scheduling, tracking, and price accuracy verification.
• Monitor real-time market supply conditions and adjust sourcing strategies with procurement.
• Conduct supplier capacity evaluations and capacity planning for supply readiness.
• Adjust delivery schedules in response to demand fluctuations and manage excess/obsolete inventory.
• Oversee raw material inventory management for assigned categories.
• Manage non-conforming incoming materials and coordinate with quality teams and suppliers for timely resolution and corrective actions.
• Coordinate timely disposition of defective materials with internal factories and external suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies and participate in related programs and training.

• Responsible for material delivery management to ensure timely and continuous supply.


• Manage purchase orders, including order placement, delivery scheduling, tracking, and verification of price accuracy.


• Monitor market supply conditions in real time and collaborate with strategic procurement to adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.


• Conduct supplier capacity evaluations and capacity planning to ensure adequate supply capabilities.


• Adjust delivery schedules in response to demand fluctuations and manage excess or obsolete inventory.


• Oversee raw material inventory management for assigned categories.


• Manage non-conforming incoming materials and coordinate with quality teams and suppliers to ensure timely resolution and corrective actions.


• Coordinate the timely disposition of defective materials with internal factories and external suppliers.


• To comply with the company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, and to participate in EHS programs and training as required.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of procurement, including supplier lifecycle management, contract/order management, and supply market analysis.


• Familiar with procurement processes such as purchasing, inspection and returns, and engineering change management.


• Good understanding of upstream and downstream supply markets, industry trends, and supplier/resource analysis.


• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with Chinese communication skills.


• Proficient in SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
