Job summary

Elentec Malaysia is seeking a meticulous Production Engineering Assistant to focus on technical writing, SOP development, and document management on the production floor.

You will maintain standardized procedures, collect data for reports, and coordinate training materials for operators, ensuring compliance with quality standards and ISO requirements. This role collaborates with engineers and shop-floor teams to improve process documentation.

Qualifications

• Education in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering or related technical field.
• 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing setting, with documentation/QA exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic workflow/diagram tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Write, format, and update SOPs, assembly instructions, and safety guidelines for the floor.
• Maintain centralized document control and ensure latest versions are used on site.
• Log production metrics and assist with routine reports and ECO documentation.
• Prepare training materials and support operators with on-floor document guidance.
