Job summary

Advanced Energy Management Limited in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a skilled draftsman/Documentation Engineer to develop and maintain manufacturing drawings, OMS, and assembly instructions from approved CAD models. The role collaborates with Design, Manufacturing, NPI, Quality, and Production to ensure accurate, safe, and repeatable assembly processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two years related experience in drafting/manufacturing documentation.
• Experience supporting NPI, pilot builds, or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing drawings, OMS, assembly instructions, and visual aids from approved CAD models and releases.
• Translate 3D CAD assemblies into production-ready documentation including sequence, features, tolerances, and tooling requirements.
• Support ECO implementation by updating drawings and related docs while maintaining revision control.
• Verify consistency among CAD models, BOMs, OMS, and released docs before production release.
• Interface with engineering and production teams to ensure design intent is translated into production processes.
