Job summary

Advanced Energy Malaysia is seeking a CAD Documentation Specialist to develop and maintain manufacturing drawings, OMS, and assembly instructions from approved 3D CAD models. You will work with Design, Manufacturing, NPI, Quality and Production teams to ensure documentation reflects product design intent and manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SolidWorks and graphical documentation tools.
• Experience in technical drafting and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs, and 3D CAD models.
• Understanding of manufacturing assembly processes and documentation control.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing drawings, OMS, and assembly instructions from approved CAD models and designs.
• Translate complex 3D CAD assemblies into production-ready documentation, defining sequence, tooling, tolerances, and checks.
• Support DFMA/ PFMEA and process optimization by incorporating manufacturing requirements into documents.
• Recommend improvements to enhance manufacturability, efficiency, and quality.
• Maintain CAD files, OMS records, BOMs, and related docs in document control systems.
