Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. seeks a Solutions Design Engineer/Manager for the Freight Forwarding sector. You will design end-to-end bespoke logistics solutions, lead bids, and balance service requirements with cost-to-serve and operational feasibility.

You will engage customers and internal stakeholders through workshops, presentations and technical proposals, maintaining design standards and templates across the region with local adaptations.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Comfortable with data analytics and a customer facing role.
• Advanced in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project.
• Advanced in AutoCAD.
• Ability to work across multiple countries and cultures.
• Commercial sense and results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new customers, RFQ processes and presentations.
• Analyse customer requirements and support Q&A sessions.
• Design and propose warehousing solutions for customer needs.
• Evaluate resources, MHE, investments, EDI, automation and innovation opportunities.
• Provide cost analysis and rates using cost model.
• Build RFQ technical proposals and present solutions to customers.
• Coordinate with Project Management for handover upon project award.
• Support solution adjustments during project implementation.
• Assist Business Development to showcase commercial packages and expertise.
• Support regional re-engineering projects as needed.

Solutions Design Engineer/Manager-Freight Forwarding Industry-Immediate Hiring!

The Solutions Engineer/Manager is responsible for designing and coordinating development of end-to-end bespoke logistics solutions for customers. You will lead solution development for complex bids, balancing service requirements, cost-to-serve and operation feasibility. You are also expected to support customer engagement and key internal stakeholders through workshops, presentations and technical proposals. You will create and maintain design standards, templates and tools across the region, ensuring consistency across solutions while adapting to local constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of new customers, either with existing client contact or by supporting the sales team for RFQ, site visit and presentation
• Analyse customer requirements and support Q&A sessions
• Design and propose warehousing solutions according to customer needs
• Evaluate resources, MHE, investments, EDI, automation and innovation opportunities
• Provide cost analysis and rates using cost model
• Build RFQ technical proposal and present the solution to customer
• Work closely with Project Management Team for solutions handover upon project award
• Support in solutions adjustment during project implementation phase if needed
• Support Business Development team to create up-to-date commercial packages showcasing Company's expertise and know-how
• Support re-engineering projects in the regions if needed

About you
