Job summary

SOLS Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking an SCM Intern in Kuala Lumpur to support the procurement cycle and learn how a growing solar business plans, buys, stores and tracks materials. You will assist with PRs, POs, delivery tracking, GRNs, inventory records and supplier cost comparisons while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-moving industry.

Essentially pursuing a Diploma or Degree in related fields, you should be proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable working in a warehouse.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (filters, basic formulas).
• Strong attention to detail with numbers, codes and serial numbers.
• Good English and Bahasa Malaysia; willing to do hands-on warehouse work.

Responsibilities

• Purchase requisitions: review completeness and draft POs for SCM approval.
• Delivery tracking: update tracker, flag delays, count deliveries and prepare GRN within 1 day.
• Inventory & records: update live inventory, support stock counts, file documents.
• Cost & compliance: collect supplier quotes and maintain price comparisons; update licence checklists.
• Internship project: deliver one improvement project by week 2 and present it before placement ends.
