The Solar Consultant (Residential) role is on-site in Subang Jaya, focusing on understanding customers' energy needs, preparing proposals, coordinating with technical teams, and guiding clients through installation

Formación

• Knowledge of solar industry and residential PV solutions.
• Leads conversion: prospecting, qualifying, nurturing residential leads.
• Strong communication; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Customer service: responsiveness, problem-solving, long-term relationships.
• Engineering/renewable energy qualifications are beneficial.

Role Description

The Solar Consultant (Residential) is a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya. This role involves engaging with residential customers, understanding their energy needs, and providing customized solar PV solutions and proposals. The consultant will generate leads, conduct site visits and assessments, explain technical concepts in accessible terms, and guide clients through installation timelines and relevant government procedures. Daily tasks include preparing quotations, coordinating with technical and installation teams, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, and following up to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The Solar Consultant will also support ongoing improvements in sales processes and contribute to building IMSB’s presence in the residential solar market.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in the Solar Industry and Solar Power, particularly in residential solar PV solutions.
• Candidates should possess Leads Conversion skills, including prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing residential customer leads.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining long‑term client relationships.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field are beneficial.
• Prior experience in solar sales, energy consulting, or related customer‑facing roles is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Subang Jaya, conduct field visits, and collaborate with technical teams.
• Proficiency with basic office and CRM software, and a valid driver’s license for local travel.
