Job summary

Waftech Sdn Bhd is seeking a Software/Senior Software Engineer (Automation) to design and implement software for automation machines. You will develop and debug machine software, support customers, and create verification plans and tests to ensure performance.

Experience in automation and machine handling is essential; semicon-related knowledge is a plus. Proficiency in C# and C++ and familiarity with WinForm/WPF MVVM/MVC patterns are expected.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Mechatronics or Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in C# and C++, or other similar machine software.
• Hands-on experience in automation machine programming environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine operation systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
• Debug on machine if there is any software related issues.
• Customer side software issue support if required.
• New software design and implement for automation machine applications to enhance machine capability and performance.

Job description

Software/ Senior Software Engineer (Automation)

Develop machine operation systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

Debug on machine if there is any software related issues.

Customer Side Software issue support if required.

New software design and implement for automation machine applications to enhance machine capability and improve performances.

Perform any other related tasks as instructed by the management from time to time.

Develop software verification plans and test procedures.

Produce specifications and operational feasibility on the machine.

Design, program, simulate and test automation on machine and its processes in order to perform exact required task.

Responsible for design specifications and other detail documentation of the software creation.

Having experience on Automation and machine handling.

Semicon related job scope will be plus point.

ORGANIZATIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

Experience in window base automation application (WinForm or WPF).

Talent in MVVM (Model-View-View Model) and / or MVC (Model View Controller) design patterns.

Practice SOLID Principle in software writing.

Good experience in system integration of automation machine.

Knowledge in motion control and/or image processing functions.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Min Diploma in Mechatronics/Software Engineering/Computer programming software or equivalent.

Strong knowledge in C#, C++ , or other similar machine software preferable.

Hands on experience in automation machine programming environment preferable.
