Job summary

Contacthings in Penang designs automated test solutions and equipment for the semiconductor industry. The role develops and maintains software for automation machines, integrating hardware and software, and providing technical support.

You will design and develop PLC, robotics, and HMI software, prepare design specs, and implement customer requirements. You will troubleshoot interfaces and support on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Practical knowledge of software, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Automation and vision inspection knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC, robotic programming, and HMI for automation equipment.
• Prepare software design specifications and documentation.
