Job summary

WPG Holdings in Penang is seeking a software professional to develop, support, and maintain its ERP system in collaboration with corporate MIS. You will work on Java and Spring Boot, PL/SQL, Form, and Report to deliver new functions and ensure stable operation for business processes.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, conducting UAT, and optimizing database performance while maintaining up‑to‑date system documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or IT field.
• 1–3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Hands-on development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with PL/SQL and Form/Report.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin helpful for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and maintain ERP system with Java / PL/SQL / Form / Report.
• Collaborate with MIS and users to gather and clarify requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain ERP components with the development team.

Job description

To develop, support, and maintain the ERP System , collaborating with corporate MIS and business users to deliver new functions and ensure stable system operation that supports the business of company’s operations.

Job Functions

Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain the ERP System using Java /PL/SQL/Form /Report.

Gather, analyze, and clarify user requirements; communicate directly with users to confirm scope before development.

Prepares and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly and efficiently

Tune and optimize database performance (e.g. query and index design) to support a stable production environment.

Prepare and maintain up-to-date system documentation.

Education & Experiece

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent.

1-3 years of relevant software development working experience.

Hands-on development experience in Java and Spring Boot.

Experience with PL/ SQL/Form/Report.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:-

Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, GIT, and PL/ SQL.

Self-motivated, a good team player, with a continuous improvement attitude.

Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in English; Mandarin is required for collaboration with the corporate (Taiwan) MIS team and system documentation.

Added Advantage:-

Understanding of company’s business logic (e.g. Sales order, purchase order, Finance).

Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Gemini,Claude).
