WPG Holdings is seeking a System / Cloud Administrator to support day‑to‑day IT operations across on‑premises and public cloud platforms. The role focuses on maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in IT infra, hands-on VMware, and experience with Windows/Linux servers and basic cloud exposure (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Collaborative, cross-border teamwork is valued.
The System / Cloud Administrator will be responsible for supporting the day-to‑day IT operations, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the company's hybrid IT infrastructure. This role focuses on daily maintenance, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting across both on‑premises virtualized environments and public cloud platforms to support high availability and performance.
Daily Operation & Monitoring: Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and system logs across on-premises and cloud environments to ensure uptime and minimize downtime.
Virtualization Support: Assist in managing and maintaining virtualized environments, primarily using VMware vSphere.
OS Administration: Administer, patch, and support enterprise server environments running on Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
Cloud Operation: Assist in administering and maintaining public cloud infrastructure (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP), including user access control, resource provisioning, and basic cost tracking.
Backup & Disaster Recovery: Execute routine data backup operations, verify backup integrity, and assist in periodic Disaster Recovery (DR) drills to ensure business continuity.
Troubleshooting: Address, log, and resolve routine system issues and user service requests in a timely manner, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Security & Compliance: Apply security patches, maintain access controls, and ensure all systems comply with company security policies.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with HQ and regional IT teams to support ongoing infrastructure projects and deployments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure support.
Virtualization: Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.
Server Environment: Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux server environments.
Cloud Exposure: Basic experience or exposure to at least one major public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Solid foundational knowledge of virtualization concepts and VMware environments.
Proficiency in administering and basic troubleshooting of Windows Server and Linux systems.
Familiarity with foundational cloud services (e.g., compute, storage, networking) on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Understanding of standard enterprise backup solutions and data recovery best practices.
Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills and a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
Good communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with remote or cross-border teams and ability to collaborate effectively with HQ in Taiwan.
