Job summary

UPECA Aerotech Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced ERP developer to build and tailor ERP features to our manufacturing processes. You will analyze needs, implement data-driven improvements, and ensure reliable system performance across modules.

You will work with SQL, C#, .NET, and APIs, supporting integrations and automation while maintaining documentation and quality standards. Collaboration with IT and business teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in software development, ERP support, or ERP customization.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database structures, and query optimization.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in system customization, scripting, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Ability to independently investigate issues and propose practical solutions.

Job description

Develop, customize, and maintain ERP system enhancements based on business requirements.

Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and database objects.

Analyse user requirements and translate them into technical and system solutions.

Design and implement modules, workflows and reports within the ERP platform.

Troubleshoot ERP system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions.

Support system testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Assist in deployment of system changes, fixes, and enhancements in controlled environments.

Work closely with end-users and departments to gather requirements and understand operational needs.

Maintain and support system integrations between ERP and other internal/external systems.

Ensure data accuracy, system stability, and integrity across ERP modules and databases.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system changes, customizations, and processes.

Design and manage databases to support ERP and digitalisation processes.

Develop and maintain middleware and data pipelines for data exchange.

Enable automation and data synchronisations across platforms.

Develop supporting applications, APIs, or tools to enhance system functionality and to integrate with external services.

Ensure scalable, maintainable and secure coding practices.

Provide ongoing technical support and system maintenance for ERP-related issues.

Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimization.

Ensure compliance with internal IT standards, procedures, and security requirements.

Support reporting needs and data extraction requests from business users.

Continuously explore and implement ways to improve ERP system performance and usability.

Design, develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications.

Uphold highest standards of Group's Quality Assurance, ensure compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive ERP initiatives' success.

Experience and Personality Preference:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in software development, ERP support, or ERP customization roles.

Strong knowledge of SQL, database structures, and query optimization.

Experience with ERP systems, preferably in manufacturing environments.

Experience in system customization, scripting, troubleshooting, and testing.

Ability to independently investigate issues and propose practical solutions.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working with minimal supervision and able to learn new systems quickly.

Good communication and coordination skills when working with users across departments.

Skills, Knowledge Requirements:

Experience with Infor SyteLine / Cloud Suite or similar ERP systems.

Knowledge of C#, .NET, APIs, reporting tools, or ERP development frameworks.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and business operations.

Exposure to system integration and automation projects.

Self-driven and proactive.

Detail-oriented and systematic in troubleshooting.

Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Willing to explore, test, and continuously improve systems.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
