YS Autoworld Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dynamic Social Media Executive to lead our digital presence and engage with customers across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more.

You will develop strategies, manage content calendars and collaborate with sales to showcase Proton models and dealership services. The role requires a proven background in social media within the automotive sector, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyse metrics to optimise campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role within digital marketing or automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, their best practices, algorithms and advertising tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with content creation tools, graphic design software and video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Ability to analyse social media metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop original content ideas and campaigns.
• Understanding of automotive industry trends and customer behavior in the Malaysian market.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to join the marketing team at YS Autoworld Sdn. Bhd., an established Proton dealer based in Kuantan, Pahang. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to drive our digital presence and engage with our customer community across all social media platforms. As Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that promote our Proton vehicles, showcase our dealership services, and build meaningful connections with our audience. This role is pivotal in establishing YS Autoworld as a leading digital voice in the automotive sector, particularly within the Pahang region. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and drive customer engagement through compelling content and strategic campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Create, curate and publish engaging social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant channels


• Develop and implement social media marketing strategies aligned with dealership objectives and Proton brand guidelines

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, comments and messages on social media channels

• Manage social media advertising budgets and optimise paid campaigns for maximum reach and engagement


• Stay updated with current social media trends and best practices in the automotive industry


• Build and nurture online community engagement to increase followers and brand loyalty


• Coordinate with graphic designers and content creators to produce high-quality visual and video content

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role within the digital marketing or automotive industry


• Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and their best practices, algorithms and advertising tools

• Proficiency in content creation tools, graphic design software and video editing software (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent)

• Creative thinking with the ability to develop original content ideas and innovative campaign concepts


• Understanding of automotive industry trends and customer behaviour in the Malaysian market


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously


• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism


• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken)


• Preferably based in or willing to work from Kuantan, Pahang
