Job summary

CIMB BANK BERHAD is seeking aSenior Executive - Business Deposits to drive marketing, solicitation, and retention at branches across Malaysia. You will leverage telemarketing and lead generation to target SME clients.

You will actively cross-sell lending, wealth management solutions, deposits, and other products while contributing to dynamic campaigns to promote services. Grow customer reach, enhance product visibility, and deliver an exceptional customer experience through strong relationship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant sales experience in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services.
• Ability to write compelling credit proposals in English.
• Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Job description

• Drive the marketing, solicitation, and retention of business deposits at branches, leveraging telemarketing and lead generation to target Small Medium Enterprise clients.
• Engage actively in cross-selling a range of the bank's products and services, including business loans, wealth management solutions, structured deposits, credit cards, and more.
• Contribute to dynamic marketing campaigns and activities to effectively promote our products and services.
• Maximize customer reach, product visibility, and operational efficiency to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Cultivate and nurture long-term business relationships with Business Deposits clients.
• Generate valuable leads and referrals for other sales teams or departments, expanding opportunities beyond the immediate scope.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in Sales within Financial Services (e.g., insurance, unit trust), preferably at the Senior Executive level
• Excellent communication skills in English and BM; additional language proficiency is a plus
• Proven ability to write compelling credit proposals in English
• In-depth knowledge of banking products and services, with strong interpersonal skills to engage across all levels
• Highly motivated, sales driven and willing to travel
