Job summary

CIMB Bank Berhad is hiring an SME Relationship Manager for Sabah/Sarawak to drive marketing, solicitation and retention of business deposits. You will cross-sell loans, wealth products, deposits, cards and more while building strong client relationships across SME segments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in financial services sales, strong English and BM communication, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong expertise in Sales within Financial Services, preferably at Senior Executive level.
Excellent communication skills in English and BM; additional language is a plus.
Proven ability to write compelling credit proposals in English.
In-depth knowledge of banking products and services with strong interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated, sales driven and willing to travel.
Banking experience and cross-selling/lead generation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Drive the marketing, solicitation, and retention of business deposits at branches.
Engage in cross-selling a range of bank products and services.
Contribute to dynamic marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
Maximize customer reach, product visibility, and operational efficiency.
Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with Business Deposits clients.
Generate leads and referrals for other sales teams or departments.
