Job summary

CTP InfoTech Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Pre-sales Solution Engineer to understand client parking requirements, design smart parking concepts, and present compelling proposals.

You will conduct site surveys, develop technically feasible and commercially competitive solutions, support sales, demo products, and coordinate handovers. English and Chinese language skills are a plus; travel nationwide required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, technical sales, system integration, or parking management solutions preferred.
• Knowledge of parking systems, access control, LPR/ANPR, payment systems, networking, software platforms, or IoT solutions is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret site layouts, technical specifications, system diagrams, and equipment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess parking layouts, traffic flow, entry/exit points, equipment needs, and integration requirements.
• Develop technically feasible, commercially competitive parking solutions aligned with client needs.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution presentations, tender responses, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase system functionality and benefits.
• Maintain updated records of client requirements, proposals, and solution configurations; handover to delivery teams.
• Monitor smart parking trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to inform product development.
