• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within project locations.
• Professional membership with a surveying body is preferred.

About the role

Victorious Realty Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Surveyor to join our growing team in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of all surveying activities on our construction projects. As a Site Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive site measurements, establishing reference points, and providing essential data that underpins the successful execution of our construction developments. This role is integral to maintaining project quality standards and ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Conduct precise site measurements and establish accurate reference points using advanced surveying equipment and technology

Prepare and maintain detailed surveying records, drawings, and documentation for all project phases

Set out building lines, levels, and boundaries in accordance with approved plans and specifications

Monitor and verify excavation depths, foundation levels, and structural alignment throughout construction phases

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve surveying-related issues and discrepancies

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all works conform to surveyed measurements and approved designs

Prepare as-built surveys and completion documentation upon project handover

Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability

Liaise with local authorities and relevant stakeholders regarding surveying matters and compliance

What we're looking for

Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Site Surveyor on construction projects

Proficiency in surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS systems, and laser levels

Strong knowledge of surveying software and CAD applications

Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building regulations applicable to Malaysia

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all surveying work

Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Physical capability to work on-site in varying weather conditions and challenging terrain

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within project locations

Preferred: Professional membership with a surveying body or relevant certification
