Job summary

Iswarabena Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Land Surveyor to join our Klang surveying team. This full-time role involves conducting precise land and boundary surveys, preparing maps and reports, and maintaining control points across project phases.

You will work with total stations, GPS/GNSS, laser levels, and CAD tools, ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations while collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients. A 1+ year background and valid licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Surveying, Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
• Licensed Surveyor qualification with relevant board membership is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in land surveying or related disciplines.
• Proficient with total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, laser levels, and other field instruments.
• Strong competency with surveying software and CAD tools for data processing and plans.
• Sound understanding of surveying methodologies, and Malaysian regulations.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for teamwork.
• Ability to work independently on site with safety awareness.
• Physical fitness for outdoor surveying and driving licence expertise advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys to determine boundaries, elevations, and terrain features.

About the role

Iswarabena Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Land Surveyor to join our surveying team in Klang, Selangor. This is a full‑time position that plays a crucial role in our construction and surveying operations. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and surveys of land and property, providing the accurate data that forms the foundation of successful construction projects. This role is essential to ensuring our projects meet regulatory requirements, are delivered on schedule, and maintain the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology to determine property boundaries, elevations, and terrain features
• Prepare detailed survey maps, plans, and reports that accurately represent surveyed areas for construction, development, and legal purposes
• Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks to ensure accuracy across multiple project phases
• Perform site measurements and inspections to verify existing conditions and identify potential constraints or challenges
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver surveys that meet specifications
• Utilise surveying software and digital tools to process data, create technical drawings, and produce documentation
• Conduct boundary surveys and assist in resolving property line disputes through accurate measurements and historical research
• Ensure all surveying work complies with relevant Malaysian surveying standards, regulations, and professional codes of conduct
• Maintain detailed records of all survey activities, measurements, and findings for project documentation and archival purposes
• Support the team in other surveying tasks as required to meet project deadlines and organisational objectives

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Surveying, Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field from a recognized institution
• Professional qualification as a Licensed Surveyor or membership with a relevant surveying professional body (such as the Board of Surveyors Malaysia) is highly desirable
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in land surveying, construction surveying, or related surveying disciplines
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, laser levels, and other modern surveying instruments
• Strong competency with surveying software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools for data processing and plan preparation
• Excellent understanding of surveying methodologies, principles, and best practices within the construction industry
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian land regulations, planning requirements, and property boundary laws
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
• Ability to work independently on site whilst maintaining strong team collaboration in the office environment
• Physical fitness and willingness to work in various outdoor conditions and challenging terrain
• Valid driving licence and own transport is advantageous
