Job summary

Hong Poh Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking experienced Site Supervisors (Mechanical / CSA) to join our project team in Penang. You will supervise and coordinate daily site activities within your discipline, ensuring works are carried out safely, according to project requirements, quality standards and schedule.

• Experience supervising daily site activities in Mechanical or CSA disciplines.
• Strong ability to coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors and trades.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and site works.
• Proactive problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Independent, hands-on and effective on-site communicator.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities for Mechanical or CSA disciplines.
• Monitor progress, workmanship, quality and safety on site.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, subcontractors, workers and other trades.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Inspect completed works and follow up on defects and rectification.
• Identify site issues and potential delays, and report promptly.

We are looking for experienced and hands-on Site Supervisors (Mechanical / CSA) to join our project team at Hong Poh Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd.

You will supervise and coordinate daily site activities within your respective discipline, ensuring works are carried out safely, according to project requirements, quality standards and schedule.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities for your respective Mechanical or CSA discipline.

Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality and safety.

Coordinate with Project Engineers, subcontractors, workers and other trades.

Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Inspect completed works and follow up on defects and rectification works.

Identify and highlight site issues, discrepancies and potential delays.

Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth site execution.

Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and company procedures.

Maintain proper site records and provide regular progress updates.

About you

SPM / Certificate / Diploma or above in Construction, Engineering or a related field.

Relevant site experience in either:
M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) OR CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural)

Good understanding of relevant construction drawings and site works.

Good site supervision and coordination skills.

Able to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, workers and project teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsible, hands‑on and able to work independently on site.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

CIDB Green Card will be an added advantage.
