Job summary

ANJ ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead on-site construction activities in UEP Subang Jaya, Selangor. You will supervise site personnel, coordinate trades, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires strong knowledge of Malaysian building codes, ability to read drawings, manage safety protocols, and maintain documentation. You will report to the project manager and liaise with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on track.

About the role

ANJ ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Supervisor to join our construction team based in UEP Subang Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage day-to-day construction operations on site. As Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. You will be responsible for supervising site personnel, coordinating with various trades, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. This position is integral to our continued success and growth in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all site activities including labour, equipment and materials to ensure efficient project execution
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings to promote a culture of safety and compliance on site
• Monitor work quality and progress against project schedules, identifying and resolving delays or issues promptly
• Maintain accurate site records, timesheets, daily reports and documentation as required by project management
• Liaise with project managers, clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination
• Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes and safety standards
• Manage site safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and ensure all personnel adhere to health and safety regulations
• Order and track materials and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available to avoid work interruptions
• Train and mentor site personnel, providing guidance on best practices and procedures
• Report on site progress, challenges and achievements to senior management on a regular basis

What we’ve looking for

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes and safety regulations in Malaysia
• Proven track record in managing labour teams, subcontractors and site operations
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Sound understanding of health and safety requirements and the ability to enforce compliance on site
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
• Problem‑solving abilities and sound judgement when making decisions under pressure
• Computer literacy with experience using construction management software and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
• Relevant construction qualifications or certifications (such as CIDB registration) are highly desirable
